This lecture will introduce works of erotic mysticism written by various female Christian mystics from the Middles Ages until the 20th century. Additionally, I will discuss how these mystics can be seen as proto-thinkers of cyberfeminism, specifically around the questions of inhuman causality (stigmata), AI erotics (angel sex), and asexual reproduction (immaculate conception).
Through a discussion of original mystical writings in relation to contemporary occult cyberculture theory, I aim to reclaim their contribution to the philosophy of technology and present them as paradigmatic thinkers for the coming era of machine erotics and the posthuman internet.
